Security deposit

All RideOnE hire bookings require a 100% refundable security deposit equal to 10% of the purchase price of the item being hired. MAKE IT YOURS! If you love the bike or board so much you can't bear to part with it after your hire session, we'll deduct the rental amount and security deposit you've already paid from the purchase total!

Bike reNTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RideOnE, Perth e-bike hire provides rental bicycles/accessories/trailers to clients under the following terms & conditions:
Obligations of RideOnE to clientsRideOnE will provide you with a rental bike that is in safe and in optimum operating condition, ready to ride. A RideOnE representative will adjust the saddle height for you based on details provided online or instore.
Obligations of clients to RideOnEYou are required to know how to safely operate your rental bike/trailer, obey official road rules at all times and be able to ride according to your level of experience and ability. Please notify RideOnE staff before the hire, should you require an introduction into operating your hire equipment.
You are required to return the rental item at the agreed date and time. If unable to return at this time you must notify RideOnE to determine if an extension of the hire period is possible. Should a rental item be returned late you will be charged for the delay based on the daily rental fee (at least one day hire).
You are required to report any damage or mechanical problems to RideOnE at the time of return. You are responsible for making sure the bike has been/is stored in a secure and safe location.
Theft or damage to hire bikesYou are responsible for any damages to or loss of rental bike(s) whilst under your care. An invoice for repair or replacement will be made available to you and explained once a RideOnE mechanic has completed a full detailed inspection of the bike(s). Any cosmetic damage like chips/dints/scratches and/or other damage that have been caused whilst in your possession will be subject to RideOnE’s discretion as to whether you’ll be charged or not. By booking your rental you acknowledge these terms and authorize RideOnE to withhold the cost of any of these damages or missing items from the return of your security deposit.
You will provide the required security deposit and photo ID (Drivers license or passport), which will be held as security for the duration of the rental period. If credit card credentials are different to photo ID supplied we reserve the right to decline your rental booking.
RideOnE reserves the right to contact police immediately should we suspect any fraudulent activity or notice the credit card provided is stolen.
Australian lawsMandatory bicycle helmet laws were introduced in July 1990. This applies when riding:
• on roads and road-related areas• on bike and shared paths• in bike lanes• in recreational parks• in car parks• on footpaths.
Police can stop bike and scooter riders and issue a fine or a warning for not wearing an approved bicycle helmet.
All helmets provided by RideOnE comply with Australian Standards testing.
WaiverThe client acknowledges and agrees that RideOnE maintains no control over the operation of the rental bikes by clients. RideOnE assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, third party liability or other loss, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of:
• Any wrongful, negligent or accidental acts or omissions on the part of the client or the client's agents
• Any defect or failure of any vehicle, equipment or instrumentally owned, operated or otherwise used by the client
• Any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under the control, direct or otherwise of RideOnE.
The client hereby releases RideOnE and its agents and employees from and against any and all liability arising during the rental/loan period. The client acknowledges that he, she or they is/are aware of the risks involved with cycling including but not limited to physical exertion, forces of nature, accidents, travel via any mode of transport, adequacy of medical facilities, or negligence (other than wilful or fraudulent) on the part of employees, agents or others of RideOnE.
Clients agree to be responsible for their own welfare and accept any and all risks associated with the activities they undertake while renting products from RideOnE. Clients agree that the terms herein are binding on them, their family members, heirs, successors, assigns, dependents and/or minors accompanying them, and their legal representatives.
Clients acknowledge and agree that RideOnE and its agents have the right to refuse participation by any person judged to be incapable of activities, and for not executing this document or other required documentation. Any dispute arising out of these matters whatsoever shall be resolved in binding arbitration/ adjudication under the laws of the country of Australia.

All products sold by RideOnE / Perth E-Bike are covered by a minimum 12 month manufacturers warranty. In addition to this warranty, Under the Australian Consumer Law, when you buy products and services they come with automatic guarantees that they will work and do what you asked for. If you buy something that isn't right, you have consumer rights.Since 1 January 2011, the following consumer guarantees on products and services apply.Products must be of acceptable quality, that is:Safe, lasting, with no faults look acceptable do all the things someone would normally expect them to do.Acceptable quality takes into account what would normally be expected for the type of product and cost.Products must:Match descriptions made by the salesperson, on packaging and labels, and in promotions or advertising match any demonstration model or sample you asked forbe fit for the purpose the business told you it would be fit for and for any purpose that you made known to the business before purchasingcome with full title and ownershipnot carry any hidden debts or extra chargescome with undisturbed possession, so no one has a right to take the goods away or prevent you from using themmeet any extra promises made about performance, condition and quality, such as life time guarantees and money back offershave spare parts and repair facilities available for a reasonable time after purchase unless you were told otherwise.Services must:be provided with acceptable care and skill or technical knowledge and taking all necessary steps to avoid loss and damagebe fit for the purpose or give the results that you and the business had agreed tobe delivered within a reasonable time when there is no agreed end date.Consumer guarantees on products and services also apply to:bundled products and servicesgifts with proof of purchasesale itemsonline products and services bought from Australian businessessecond-hand products from businesses, taking into account age and condition.
